Instead, the strips simply push onto the pegged hanging rails, making installation quick and safe. This design ensures that even if the curtains are pulled down, there are no sharp edges or metal components exposed.

Easy Installation and Customisation
The QuickMount rail system is made from toughened polypropylene, providing a robust and secure fitting alternative to traditional metal rails. Rails can be face or soffit fitted using the pre-drilled M8 fixing holes. Although fixings are not included, they should be supplied by the installer and appropriate for the fitting surface. The PVC strips are supplied in stock lengths but can be easily trimmed to achieve the perfect fit for any doorway or opening.
Durability and Maintenance
Our PVC strips are sourced from reputable UK manufacturers, ensuring high quality and durability. They contain anti-UV filters to protect against sunlight damage and are designed to withstand typical wear and tear. However, as a consumable product, the lifespan of the PVC will vary depending on the traffic and environmental conditions. To maximise longevity, it is advisable to fit these curtains internally or in sheltered areas to reduce exposure to harsh weather conditions.

Longevity: PVC strip is considered a consumable product. How fast it’s consumed is beyond any manufacturer’s or supplier’s control. Its lifespan will be dictated by where it’s used, what type of traffic might move through it and how carefully (or aggressively) such traffic does so. To help maximise its working life, we always recommend that PVC curtains are fitted internally behind doors or openings that can provide a degree of shelter. If they’re fitted outside of a doorway or building, fully exposed to the elements all day and night, they can deteriorate and/or lose clarity more quickly. The rate of this will depend entirely on the severity of the local weather. We have some customers who replace their PVC annually… others who’ve had the same for many, many years.
