Cutting EPDM Rubber Sheet

Mark Your Cut Line: Use chalk or marker to mark cutting line on rubber surface
Use Sharp Tools: Heavy-duty utility knife, Stanley knife, or specialist rubber cutting shears
Score and Snap (Thin Sheets): For 1.5-3mm thickness, score deeply and bend to snap cleanly
Multiple Passes (Thick Sheets): For 6mm thickness, make multiple cutting passes rather than forcing through
Straight Edges: Use metal straight edge or T-square for precision straight cuts
Circular Cuts: Create cardboard template first, trace onto rubber, then cut carefully

Bonding & Adhesion

Use EPDM-compatible contact adhesive or specialist rubber adhesive for permanent bonding
Clean both surfaces thoroughly before bonding to remove dust and contaminants
Apply adhesive to both surfaces, allow to become tacky (follow manufacturer instructions)
