Stainless steel hook on plate sets are the quick and easy linking mechanism for attaching PVC strips to stainless steel hook on rails. Each stainless steel plate set consists of a front plate and back plate. The two parts are positioned either side of the PVC and mechanically clamped together with rivets (supplied for free.) Each PVC strip requires its own plate set. ALL SIZES NOMINAL.

Stainless steel hook on plate sets are used in conjunction with stainless steel hook on rails to make the classic strip curtain system. They are easy to fit (using supplied rivets) and requiring no ongoing maintenance. The 430 grade stainless steel makes these plate sets particularly good for use in areas where appearance and cleanliness are important.

Before connecting the plate sets to your PVC strips, you’ll first need to drill fixing holes in the PVC. TIP: The plate sets make ideal templates for doing this. Just lay one in position on the end of the PVC and drill through the PVC accordingly.

Note: If your strip curtain needs to withstand heavy / repeated used by forklifts or other powered vehicles, we would not recommend this hanging system. More suitable would be the more robust Twin-Track rail or the heavy-duty Swivel-Hinge rail.

Available in: 100mm, 200mm 300mm & 400mm width sizes to suit all regular PVC strip widths. Suitable for curtains up to 10m high.

Longevity: This product’s lifespan will be dictated by where it’s used, what type of traffic might move through it and how carefully (or aggressively) such traffic does so. This is beyond any manufacturer’s or suppliers control. Used appropriately, the product should last for many years.

Hook-on rails are the mounting system for hook-on PVC strip curtains. The rail fixes permanently above the door opening, and individual strips hang from S-hooks that can be added or removed quickly.

What material are the rails made from?

Rails are available in galvanised steel for standard applications and stainless steel for food, cold-store and high-humidity environments.

Can hook-on rails be cut to length on site?

Yes — rails can be cut to length with a hacksaw or angle grinder to fit your exact door width.

What is the maximum span without a support bracket?

Rails up to 1.5m wide can typically be mounted at each end without central support. Wider spans require a centre support bracket to prevent rail deflection under the weight of strips.

Are replacement hooks available separately?

Yes — replacement S-hooks and hanging brackets are available separately so individual hooks can be replaced without purchasing a complete new curtain set.
