Our high abrasion grade snow plough scraper rubber sheet is specifically engineered for extreme-duty applications where conventional rubber fails. Manufactured from premium 60° Shore A SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) compound, this material delivers exceptional abrasion resistance, tear strength, and impact resilience—making it the material of choice for snow plough blades, industrial scrapers, conveyor wipers, and hard chute linings.

The 60° Shore A hardness provides the optimal balance between flexibility and wear resistance. Soft enough to conform to irregular surfaces and absorb impact, yet hard enough to resist cutting, tearing, and abrasive wear from continuous contact with concrete, asphalt, gravel, and frozen surfaces. This specialized formulation significantly extends service life compared to standard rubber compounds.

Why 60° Shore A for Scraper Applications?

The 60° Shore A hardness specification is critical for scraper blade performance. Softer compounds (40-50° Shore A) wear too quickly and lack structural integrity under load. Harder compounds (70-80° Shore A) become brittle in cold weather and fail to conform to surface irregularities, reducing scraping efficiency. Our 60° Shore A formulation delivers the optimal balance—flexible enough to maintain surface contact and absorb impact, yet hard enough to resist abrasive wear and maintain edge integrity throughout extended service intervals.

Cutting & Shaping: Can be cut to size using sharp utility knives, band saws, or water-jet cutting. For snow plough blades, cut to required length and drill mounting holes as per equipment specifications.

Mounting: Secure using bolts, rivets, or mechanical fasteners. Pre-drill holes slightly larger than fastener diameter to allow for thermal expansion/contraction.

Thickness Selection: 6-10mm for light-duty scrapers and wipers, 12-15mm for standard snow plough blades, 20-25mm for heavy-duty industrial applications and hard chute linings.

Maintenance: Inspect regularly for wear and damage. Replace when edge wear exceeds 50% of original thickness or when scraping efficiency declines.
