Application Guide

Apply to a clean, dry subfloor using a notched trowel at 200–300g/m². Allow to become touch-dry (approx. 20–30 minutes at 20°C). Press flooring firmly into position. Full cure achieved within 24 hours.

What adhesive should I use for rubber flooring?

Use a contact adhesive or pressure-sensitive adhesive specifically formulated for rubber flooring. Solvent-based contact adhesives give a stronger permanent bond; water-based versions are lower odour and suitable for enclosed spaces.

How do I apply rubber flooring adhesive?

Apply adhesive to both surfaces (subfloor and rubber backing) using a notched trowel. Allow to become touch-dry (typically 10–20 minutes), then press surfaces together firmly and roll with a flooring roller.

How much adhesive do I need per square metre?
