Rubber Flooring Rolls UK

Rubber flooring rolls are the most economical way to floor large areas. Available in widths from 1.0m to 1.4m and supplied in full 10m rolls or cut to your exact linear metre requirement, rolls are ideal for gyms, workshops, factories, stables, van conversions and commercial spaces.

Rubber Flooring Roll Options

Surface Profile Thickness Best Application
Studded 3mm – 6mm Gym floors, garages, van lining
Ribbed (broad/fine) 3mm – 10mm Industrial, commercial, entrances
Diamond Tread 3mm – 6mm Anti-slip vehicle ramps, walkways
Smooth (plain) 1.5mm – 6mm Gasketing, sealing, bench protection
Coin Pattern 2mm – 3mm Decorative gym, garage, showroom

Cut Lengths vs Full Rolls

Full 10m rolls offer the best value per metre and are ideal if you know your total requirement. Cut lengths (sold per linear metre) are better if you need a precise amount or are doing phased installation. Rubberco supplies both — there is no minimum order on cut lengths.

Installation

Rubber flooring rolls can be laid loose, glued or taped. For permanent commercial installation, use the relevant contact adhesive for your substrate (concrete, timber or existing floor covering). For temporary or removable installation (e.g., gym mats or van lining), lay loose and trim to fit.

How wide are rubber flooring rolls?

Most rubber flooring rolls from Rubberco are 1.2m or 1.4m wide, with some specialist products available in 1.0m or 2.0m widths. The width is fixed — you select the length you need. For a 6m x 1.2m area, you would order 6 linear metres of 1.2m wide roll.

What is the cheapest rubber flooring roll?

SBR (styrene butadiene rubber) rolls are the lowest cost option — typically £4 to £8 per square metre for 3mm to 4mm thickness. Recycled SBR compound (made from recycled tyres) is the most affordable grade and is suitable for general industrial, gym and workshop flooring. EPDM and Nitrile rolls cost more due to their specialist properties.
